Is the main character in your story perfect? If he is, give him a flaw. Readers like someone human, someone they can relate to and nobody’s perfect. Is he greedy, impatient or stupid?

   Look at your favourite characters in books and see what their flaws are and you’ll see it adds to why you like them.
